Nekton MSA Bird Supplement

NEKTON-MSA is a high-quality mixture of minerals supplemented with vitamin D3, bulk and trace elements, and amino acids. NEKTON-MSA supports metabolism and bones, prevents rickets, and helps to compensate for damage caused by calcium deficiency. NEKTON-MSA covers the increased need for minerals in breeding/rearing, protects against resorption disorders, increases the defense against infections and maintains good health and vigor in your bird.

NEKTON-MSA supports a healthy, steady skeletal development in offspring. Using this product prevents future complications with nutrient deficiencies and aids in producing healthy birds. 

Additional Information

Minerals are necessary for proper metabolism and development. Unfortunately excess trace and bulk minerals are excreted by the bird in their waste. These essential nutrients must be present often to ensure healthy birds.

As the term "trace elements" already suggests, the supply of these substances is only necessary in very small, or "trace", amounts. NEKTON-MSA is focused on providing a mineral blend that not only addresses the composition but also the bird's needs and bioavailability. Amounts of trace elements, vitamins, and amino acids must support each other and must not hinder the function and use of one another. When putting together NEKTON-MSA, special consideration was given to these criteria, so that the owner can be sure that they are providing their animals with these elements in the best possible way.

Feeding Instructions:

For birds: 1 g NEKTON-MSA per kg body weight daily. Add to soft foods for any type of bird, or to grit for finches, canaries, doves, pigeons, etc. For most birds this will seem like an extremely small amount. DO NOT add more than recommended.

A level measuring spoon (enclosed) corresponds to 1.5 g NEKTON-MSA.

This product has a high Vitamin D level. It is important that the food your bird consumes with this additive is not more than 9% by weight of what they eat in a day.

For reptiles: 0.25 g NEKTON-MSA per kg body weight daily, or 1.5 g once a week. Best if used to dust crickets or other feeders.

Storage:

NEKTON-MSA should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, between 15 °C and 25 °C. DO NOT STORE IN THE FRIDGE!
